The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) and the signatories of MoC conducted the first plenary meeting in Beijing on 28 to 29 March 2019, and formed three Task Forces Groups to develop various work areas, including (i) Technical task force; (ii) Manpower task force; and (iii) promotion task force. To more effectively facilitate the development and application of RCx in the GBA, the EMSD held a working group meeting with the signatories of MoC at the Hong Kong Science Park Convention and Exhibition Centre on 6 August 2019.
Participants discussed and exchanged views on the three aspects of "Technical", "Manpower" and "Promotion", and the key notes are summarized below:
Technical
- Update the technical guidelines on RCx, and consolidate professional advice from experts in different region, to formulate framework and details of the guidelines and to review relevant terms in the guidelines.
- Identify the representative cases of RCx in other regions, to share the process and results.
Manpower
- Formulate training material applicable in Hong Kong, China, and invite local stakeholders to participate in trial training courses,
- Invite professionals in signatories of MoC to provide advice on training materials to foster the training materials diversification, and promote to use in regions outside Hong Kong, China in long term.
Promotion
- Conduct courses, seminars, to share the experiences and results in RCx implementation,
- Continuously optimize and update online resources center as a platform for sharing results of various stakeholders,
- Plan a schedule of major activities for 2019/2020, and participate and promote in due course.
